All candidates will receive an e-certificate and a performance report from adjudicators (digital format). The jury members will award prizes via online video screening. Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Prizes may be awarded in each category according to the jury's marks. Special prizes may also be awarded to candidates who showcase a unique aspect of themselves in their video performance.

2025 Annual Awards
Awards for Musician of the Year 2025
Require newly recorded video for all candidates, opens to performer candidates only. Video Submission Deadline: 1st April 2025.
Only participants on This List are eligible to enter. No application fee required. One-Round Competition with Special Video Requirements. Videos failed to meet Annual Video Requirements will not be accepted.
There will be a preliminary check for video and eligibility. Only approved participants move to the final selection. All video performances approved for the final selection will be open to the public for audience voting. The final ranking will be determined by both jury marks and audience votes.
Prizes including £1000 total cash award, teacher certificates, special edition champion trophies, online article interviews, online concert invitations, CD awards and LYM exclusive teddy bears. All candidates will receive an e-certificate and a special Musician of the Year e-card. All Prize/Award winners are eligible to request e-certificate for their teachers.
*No jury comments provided in this annual competition. Both jury marking and audience voting determine the final results.
